The Moccasin Part 2-4: Side, Tongue and Ankle

Following is the progression of The Moccasin pattern, starting with the sides, attaching the tongue and finally the ankle

Following are photographs of attaching the tongue to the sides (contrasting yarn colors are used here for demonstration).

 

Double Soles

Make 4 soles as above. Place two soles together, one on top of the other and darn them together (shown here in contrasting yarn for clarity)

You will then treat them as you would a single sole for the joining of the sides in Part 2 of the pattern.
